2022-23 Mountain West Basketball Transfer Portal Tracker

LARAMIE -- More than 1,420 names have been entered into the NCAA Transfer Portal since the 60-day movement window opened March 13, according to verbalcommits.com.

Wyoming's basketball program, I'm sure you're well aware, has taken the biggest hit in the Mountain West Conference. Currently, nine former Cowboys have entered free agency after a disappointing 9-22 finish to a season that many thought would still be ongoing well into the month of March.

Graham Ike is the biggest name on that list. 247sports.com ranked the 6-foot-10, 255-pound forward as the 12th best available player in the nation. Imagine where he would land if he didn't miss the entire 2022-23 season with a right foot injury?

Jeff Linder now has eight scholarships to fill out of 13. Mason Walters, the NAIA Player of the Year at the University of Jamestown (N.D.) committed to the Cowboys Wednesday night, joining Fullerton College guard Kobe Newton. Walters, a three-time All-American, has just one season of eligibility remaining. Newton has two.
