The Cowboys' redshirt freshman quarterback completed just 13-of-30 passes for 120 yards in that 24-10 loss in Fort Collins, Waylee, a senior running back who rushed for 170 yards against the Lobos in his 2024 debut, carried the ball just eight times for 15 yards.

One thing that was similar was the lack of a rush defense from the visiting team.

New Mexico rushed for more than 400. The Rams, 248.

Wyoming is now 2-8 on the season and heading home boot-less. CSU is 5-0 in Mountain West play and has its sights set on a conference title.
