LARAMIE -- In this new series we will examine a few numbers that stand out from the game we just witnessed. That was a 76-49 rout of Detroit Mercy Tuesday night at the Arena-Auditorium.

Sometimes they won’t be fun ones. Other times, you will be downright giddy.

Wyoming won the rebounding battle against the Titans, pulling down 43 compared to just 37 for Detroit Mercy. That was a season-high for the Pokes, led by Hendricks and Hunter Thompson, who each finished with 10. For Hendricks, it was his first career double-double. For Thompson, that was a career best.

Scoring has not been easy this year for the home team. Tuesday that changed. The Cowboys 76 points was the most this season.

In 12 of his last 13 games, Maldonado has finished with double-digit scoring. He did it again Tuesday, netting 13.

For the first time in four games this year, Maldonado wasn't the Pokes leading scorer. In fact, he finished third behind Taylor and Banks. That isn't necessarily a bad thing for this group.
