BOISE, Idaho — In this new series we will examine a few numbers that stand out from the game we just witnessed. That was a 20-17 overtime loss to Boise State Saturday night at Albertsons Stadium.

For the third consecutive week, Wyoming running back Xazavian Valladay eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark. Saturday, he finished with 124 yards on a career-high 37 carries. He now has 631 yards on the season.

Logan Wilson now has this many interceptions in his Wyoming career. Wilson, a Casper product, was named a semifinalist for the Butkus Award last week, which is given to the nation's best linebacker. Tonight, he finished with a team-high 10 tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss.

Wilson is now fourth all-time in school history with 388 tackles, passing former Cowboy safety, John Salley. He's now sixth in tackling in the history of the Mountain West Conference, too.

Wyoming is now 8-8 all time in overtime games. They are 4-6 overall on the road in those contests. The last time the Cowboys played an extra period was in 2017 against Hawaii.

Wyoming has 15 takeaways through its first nine games. Tonight, they were a plus-2 in that category. Javaree Jackson forced and recovered a fumble, and Logan Wilson picked off a Chase Cord pass late in the fourth. Wyoming has scored 55 points off those turnovers.

Cooper Rothe nailed a 39-yard field goal in the second quarter to give the Cowboys a 10-7 lead at the half. That was the 55th of his career, leaving him just two shy of Sean Fleming's school record.
