LARAMIE -- Not that you care, but the Mountain West released the 2020 football schedule today.

Just in case you are interested, it goes something like this:

Oct. 24 at Nevada
Oct. 31 vs. Hawaii
Nov. 7 at Colorado State
Nov. 14 vs. Air Force
Nov. 21 vs. Utah State

Nov. 28 at UNLV
Dec. 5 at New Mexico
Dec. 12 vs. Boise State
Dec. 19 Mountain West Championship

The wait is finally over.

Does it feel real yet?

Wyoming will travel to Reno to take on the Wolf Pack Oct. 24 for the season opener. Sean Chambers, Xazavian Valladay and the Pokes hammered Nevada 31-3 last season in Laramie.

The Cowboys were originally slated to play in Nevada when the initial schedule was released.

The same goes for UNLV, New Mexico and Border War rival Colorado State.

The Cowboys will host Hawaii on Halloween for the season opener at War Memorial Stadium in front of 7,000 fans.

The rest of the Pokes' home schedule includes Air Force, Utah State and a much-anticipated finale against MW frontrunner, Boise State.

So, what changed from the original conference schedule?

Not much, aside from a date with San Diego State, which was supposed to visit Laramie. Instead, UW will host the Rainbow Warriors.
