Brian Hill inks deal with Titans
LARAMIE -- Brian Hill has found a new home.
Wyoming's all-time rushing leader Wednesday signed with the Tennessee Titans, adding depth to a backfield that features the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year and 2,000-yard running back, Derrick Henry.
Terms of the deal are not yet known.
Hill spent the last three seasons in Atlanta, where he racked up 945 rushing yards in a limited role. The former fifth-round pick in 2017 finished with career highs in games (16), carries (100) and rushing yards (465) in 2020. Hill also caught 25 passes for 199 yards last year for the Falcons.
The 25-year-old is one of 15 former players currently on an NFL roster. During his three seasons in Laramie from 2014-16, Hill rushed for a school record 4,287 yards, surpassing Devin Moore (2,963) in the history books. He also scored 35 rushing touchdowns.

His best collegiate season came in 2016 when he rolled up 1,860 yards on the ground and found the end zone 22 times. The Cowboys won the Mountain Division title that season and hosted the league championship game.
The Titans finished the 2020 campaign 11-5 overall and won the AFC South Division. Tennessee fell to Baltimore 20-13 in the Wild Card round. The Ravens held Henry to just 40 yards on 18 carries. The other three Titans' ball carriers that day were quarterback Ryan Tannehill, Jeremy McNichols and Darrynton Evans. They combined for four rushed for 11 yards.
Hill is the second former Cowboy to sign with a new team this offseason, joining former UW teammate, Jacob Hollister (Bills). Tashaun Gipson also received a new contract this spring to return to Chicago.
