Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th President of the United States, spent his college days in San Marcos. So did legendary country star, George Strait. Professional wrestler, Shawn Michaels and Cardinals' first baseman, Paul Goldschmidt, went here, too.

One of your old friends is from San Marcos. BYU quarterback, Ty Detmer, grew up here.
