LOGAN, Utah -- The Wyoming Cowboys remain on the road heading to one of the nation’s hottest teams in Utah State.

The contest is set for a 7 p.m. start on Tuesday evening from the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah.

Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com and stream on the MW App. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelly will be on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.

 

About The Teams

Wyoming heads into the mid-week contest with a 8-7 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play after falling on the road to New Mexico by a score of 77-60 on Saturday. The Pokes are shooting 45.5 percent from the field with opponents shooting 44.2 percent.

Wyoming is shooting 38.8 percent from behind the arc for first in the Mountain West and No. 15 in the nation. The Pokes are shooting 75.6 percent from the free throw line, which ranks second in the conference and No. 39 in the nation.

The Aggies head into the contest with a 14-1 record and a 2-0 mark in conference play after defeating No. 13 Colorado State on Saturday. Utah State has won 13-straight games with their only loss coming to Bradley in the second game of the season.

Utah State ranks second in the conference and No. 13 in the nation shooting 50 percent from the field. USU also ranks second in the conference grabbing 38.2 rebounds per game.

 

About The Players

Wyoming is led in scoring this season by guard Sam Griffin at 18.6 points per game. He ranks second in the conference and No. 56 in the nation. He has 34 three pointers on the season for 2.3 per game for fourth in the conference.

Akuel Kot adds 15 points per game on the season for the Brown and Gold. Mason Walters adds 11.6 points per game and 3.8 rebounds. Caden Powell and Cam Manyawu lead the team grabbing six rebounds per game.

The Aggies are led in scoring by Great Osobor at 18.5 points per game and 9.5 rebounds. He ranks third in the conference in scoring and leads the league in rebounding.

Ian Martinez adds 12.8 points per game on the season and is shooting 55.7 percent from the field. Darius Brown II adds 7.3 assists per game for second in the conference and fourth in the nation.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series against the Aggies 53-35 in a rivalry that dates back to 1926. Wyoming is 18-23 all-time against Utah State in Logan.
