LARAMIE -- The Mountain West released its 2022 conference volleyball schedule this week. The Wyoming Cowgirl slate comes into clearer focus now for the 10th season under head coach Chad Callihan.

The Cowgirls will once again be hosting a pair of non-conference tournaments during the season. UW kicks off the season Aug. 26 and 27 as Creighton, Iowa State and Wichita State come to Laramie. Wyoming will also host a Sept. 16 and 17 tournament with Idaho, Morehead State and Nicholls State coming to 7220.

Wyoming will also travel to Grand Canyon (Sept. 2-3) and Winthrop (Sept. 9-10) for non-conference tourneys in 2022.

UW’s league slate features 18 total contests, with nine coming at home. The Cowgirls open league play Sept. 20 as they travel to Border Rival and defending Co-MW Champion Colorado State. Wyoming’s league home-opener is slated for Sept. 24 against UNLV.

The Cowgirls will also host five home matches in October as San Jose State (10/6), Nevada (10/8), Utah State (10/20), Fresno State (10/27) and San Diego State (10/29) come to town. Wyoming will also host a home weekend against Air Force and New Mexico, November 10 and 12, respectively before closing with Senior Night Nov. 15 against CSU.
