LARAMIE -- Who could forget Austyn Carta-Samuel's stiff arm?

How about Josh Allen's masterful second-half performance in the snow? What about the 96-yard drive inside Hughes Stadium. Josh Wallwork and Marcus Harris did the heavy lifting. Running back Marques Brigham cruised into the end zone thanks to his massive offensive front.

Most recently there was the Jayden Clemons-to-Alex Brown connection that lifted the Cowboys to a Border War victory in Fort Collins back in 2022. Last November it was back-to-back interceptions from linebackers Easton Gibbs and Shae Suiaunoa.

There was the emotional nine-yard touchdown toss from Andrew Peasley to Gunner Gentry, too.

Put your stamp on this game, you'll be remembered forever.

Friday night inside Canvas Stadium, Wyoming and Colorado State will meet on the football field for the 116th time. As always, the Bronze Boot, a traveling trophy that was once worn in the Vietnam War, is on the line.

Craig Bohl beat the Rams seven times during his decade-long run on the sidelines in Laramie. The Pokes have claimed 11 of the last 15 meetings, including three in a row. CSU may have the edge in the overall series -- 59-51-5 -- but Wyoming is hot on its heels.

Since the hardware was added to the mix back in 1968, the boys in brown and gold have hoisted it 31 times in 56 tries.

These two bitter intrastate rivals will hook up at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
