CHEYENNE — Two-time All-American and Biletnikoff Trophy winner, Marcus Harris, joined 7220sports.com Thursday for its weekly Happy Hour podcast.

Harris, who played for the Cowboys from 1993-96, led the NCAA in receiving yards with 4,518. He also caught 38 touchdown passes during his tenure in Laramie.

The Detroit Lions drafted Harris in the seventh round of the 1997 NFL Draft but he never played a regular season game.

Harris talked about his short stint in pro football, the 1996 season in which the Cowboys went 10-2 and played in the WAC title game and his record-breaking career at Wyoming, among many other things.
