Kickoff time announced for Wyoming-BYU tilt in Provo
LARAMIE -- ESPN networks announced Monday that the Wyoming at BYU football game on Saturday, Sept. 24 will kick off at 8:15 p.m., Mountain Time from LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
The game will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. Determination of the exact ESPN network will be announced after games of Sept. 17 are completed.
It will be the first time the two teams will play since the 2016 Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego, Calif. That night, inside a soggy Qualcomm Stadium, Josh Allen and Co. couldn't quite complete the comeback, dropping a 24-21 decision.
The last meeting in Provo between these longtime rivals back in 2010. Dave Christensen's Cowboys fell to the Cougars, 25-20.
BYU has won eight straight in the series and Wyoming hasn't won a road game in the series since 1987.
