LOGAN, Utah -- Wyoming tight end Jackson Marcotte left the game late in the first quarter with an apparent lower-body injury.

The redshirt freshman from Mt. Carmel, Ill., snagged an 9-yard catch and turned up field when he was hit in the thigh area and went down in pain. He stayed on the field for several minutes before leaving on a cart.

The 6-foot, 7-inch, 250-pounder has seven catches this season for 115 yards and two touchdowns. He hauled in two passes Saturday for 12 yards.
