Mr. Rogers’ Gourmet ‘Gating: Whole lotta Hawaiian
CHEYENNE — The Rainbow Warriors climb to 7,220 feet to face the Cowboys at War Memorial Stadium Friday night, however something will be missing. At the home opener, the lot will be mostly vacant. No shouts of tailgaters heard. No smell of burgers on the grill. So renowned tailgater Ryan Rogers has only one choice: to help bring the tailgate home to you.
This week on our tailgate cooking video feature, Mr. Rogers takes you on a tour of the delicious and precocious landscape of Hawaiian food. There's sushi, there's fried rice.
And yes, there is spam.
With a whopping three main courses and our segment Cowboy Cocktails, we dare you to find something in this week's episode you won't try to make at least once. Here's hoping this knew knowledge arms you to provide your friends and family with a taste of the tailgate as you watch the game from home.
If you are one of the lucky 7,000 who will be admitted to the War on Friday, we have something for you, too. A new video feature, Gameday Grub, showcasing Laramie eateries will premier Friday morning. Hopefully it gives you a place to check out while not tailgating in the Wyoming Cowboys' hometown.
