PODCAST: State of the Wyoming Football Program
LARAMIE -- Cody Tucker and Jared Newland breakdown Wyoming's 2022 football season -- by position -- and look ahead to what could be a crucial campaign ahead for head coach Craig Bohl.
There's plenty to be excited about.
Jay Sawvel's defense could be one of the best in the country next season led by the likes of Easton Gibbs, Cole Godbout, Jordan Bertagnole and crew. Sabastian Harsh, a defensive end who missed all of last season with a knee injury, could be the ace in the hole for a Pokes' pass rush that surprised everyone in '22.
John Hoyland will be back. Wyoming will have a proven punter.

But, as always, what about that offense?
Can Bohl and Co. evolve and finally bring balance to the high plains? Can Andrew Peasley take care of the football? Can a wide receiver -- or three -- step up and turn into a top target?
Also, we look at Jeff Linder's Cowboys, who are in the middle of a season like none other. This was supposed to be a title contender. A Mountain West championship was a real possibility. A return trip to the Big Dance was the goal.
Now, the Graham Ike-less Pokes are just trying to win a conference game. They have their next chance today with Border War rival Colorado State in town.
