LARAMIE -- The Wyoming Cowboys close the regular season on Saturday with a trip to No. 18 San Diego State on Saturday. The contest slated for a 8 p.m. MT start will be televised on CBS Sports network with Rich Waltz on the call and Tim Doyle as the analyst.

Fans can listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelley will have the call with Kevin McKinney on color.

About The Teams
The Cowboys head into the game with a 9-20 overall record and a 4-13 mark in conference play after downing NCAA Tournament hopeful Nevada by a score of 80-71 on Monday evening. The Pokes dominated the glass against the Wolf Pack going +10 on the glass. The Poke also knocked down 10 threes for back-to-back games with double-digit three pointers. It also marked the 12th time this season the Cowboys have done so. Wyoming adds 8.6 threes per game to rank second in the Mountain West and No. 53 in the nation.

San Diego State has been the team to beat all season in the Mountain West Conference. The Aztecs sit atop the standings at 14-3 in the league and 23-6 overall. San Diego State will look to bounce back after suffering a loss at Boise State on Tuesday in a game where the Aztecs led by nine with under 10 minutes to play. The Aztecs can claim the conference's outright regular-season crown with a win.

About The Players
The Pokes are led in scoring by senior Hunter Maldonado at 15.2 points per game. He ranks ninth in the conference and adds 17.4 points per game in conference play which ranks sixth in the league. He adds 4.2 assists per game this season for sixth in the conference. He has a chance to become the first player in NCAA History to record at least 2,000 points, 800 rebounds and 600 assists, as he needs just two more rebounds. He became the MW all-time leader in assists on Monday with 625. Jeremiah Oden adds 9.1 points per game and scored a career-high 28 points on Monday. He averages 10.9 points per game in conference play. Hunter Thompson leads the Pokes with 5.4 rebounds per game after 13 against Nevada, which was a career-high.

San Diego State is led by Matt Bradley. He pours in 13.1 points per game to go alongside 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest. Darrion Trammell is the only other Aztec averaging in double figures at 10.1 points per game. He also paces the team with 3.6 assists per contest. Nathan Mensah leads the attack on the glass, collecting 5.9 rebounds per game.

The Aztecs score 73.1 points per game on 45.3 percent shooting, which includes 36 percent from 3-point range. San Diego State's foes average 64.9 points per contest on 42.4 percent accuracy and 29.5 percent from deep.

San Diego State owns a 49-41 advantage in the all-time series against Wyoming. The Aztecs have enjoyed the upper hand of late, winning each of the last nine matchups. That includes the most recent meeting where San Diego State claimed an 80-75 victory in Laramie in January.
