LARAMIE -- Wyoming and longtime rival, the University of Utah, were supposed to meet on the gridiron for the 84th time Sept. 19 inside War Memorial Stadium.

COVID-19 wiped that out.

The Utes' official website Monday shows that Utah and Wyoming have rescheduled that meeting and the one that was supposed to take place in Salt Lake City in 2025.

Here's what the new home-and-home series should look like:

  • Sept. 13, 2025 -- Utah at Wyoming -- War Memorial Stadium, Laramie
  • Sept. 4, 2027 -- Wyoming at Utah -- Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City

Utah holds a 51-32-1 overall advantage in the series and has won the last four meetings between the two programs. These two haven't met on a football field since 2010.

Wyoming's last victory over the Utes came back in 2006. Joe Glenn's Cowboys rolled to a 31-15 win in Laramie.
