BOISE, Idaho -- Now, things are getting interesting.

Wyoming's hopes for a Mountain West Championship game berth are very much still alive heading into its meeting with No. 22 Boise State tonight.

My title hopes in the weekly pick 'ems just got a boost, too, thanks to a 10-3 record in Week 10. DJ Johnson and I are now tied at the top spot. We both cracked the century mark last week.

I'm sure you are on the edge of your seats to see who wins that one.

In all seriousness, the Cowboys do control their own destiny and are playing meaningful football in November. Just the way Craig Bohl planned it.

Here were last week’s results:
Cody: 10-3
Matt Colcleasure: 10-3
Emilee: 8-5
Casey: 8-5
DJ: 8-5
Gabby Orr: 7-6
Kasey: 6-8

Side note: Kasey's wife beat him this week in picks. She isn't exactly a college football savant. That's a bad loss in the Orr household. Me, however, I'm pretty proud of my bride, Emilee. She has been hanging tough all season. Feel free to shield your eyes away from her pick tonight though.

Here are the overall standings after Week 9:
DJ: 102-37
Cody: 102-37
Casey: 95-45
Emilee: 95-45
Kasey: 79-61

This week, we are back to our normal format -- awesome Cowboys fan, former Cowboy player.

We have two really good ones this week.

Jill Shafer Kelley is a Wyoming fanatic. And boy is she ready for tonight's game. She is already planning a trip to Utah State next week. She has full confidence Tyler Vander Waal and the Pokes pull off the upset tonight.

I'm sure her and her husband Mark are already raring to go!

Our former player is one of the "greatest impact defensive players" in Wyoming football history. That's what his UW Hall of Fame plaque says anyway.

He is former All-American, Ken Fantetti, the Detroit Lions second-round pick in the 1979 NFL Draft.

Fantetti played linebacker for seven seasons in the pros. He picked off six passes in 95 career games. Check out his amazing Wyoming career right HERE.
