Show us your picks: Week 12
LARAMIE -- It's official -- we know nothing about high school football in the state of Wyoming.
By we, I mainly mean me.
I swung and missed on every single state title game last weekend inside War Memorial Stadium. If I'm being completely honest, I didn't do my homework. It showed.
Big congrats to Sheridan, Big Piney, Burlington, Star Valley and Torrington.
MORE UW FOOTBALL NEWS VIA 7220SPORTS:
Mat Murdock was the only one of us that thought UNLV was for real. He was right. The Rebels have a quarterback and a fun, explosive offensive scheme. They gave Wyoming a firsthand look in a 34-14 dismantling last Friday night in Sin City.
The Cowboys title hopes are no more. UNLV will be in the driver's seat with a victory over slumping Air Force Saturday inside Falcon Stadium.
Wyoming will host a suddenly red-hot Hawaii team Saturday in Laramie. Kickoff is scheduled for noon and the game will be televised on Hawaii Spectrum PPV. You probably don't have that. You should probably just show up and say goodbye to at least 10 seniors and a few other underclassmen, who will play their final home game on the high plains.
Here's this week's matchups and betting odds:
Hawaii (+13) at Wyoming
Nevada (+11.5) at Colorado State
UNLV (+3) at Air Force
Boise State (-3.5) at Utah State
New Mexico (+23.5) at Fresno State
San Jose State (-14.5) at San Diego State
Montana State at Montana
Utah (+1) at Arizona
Oklahoma (-24) at BYU
Georgia (-10) at Tennessee
