Show US Your Picks: Week 4
DENTON, Texas -- Have you checked in on your favorite Cornhusker?
That's actually a trick question.
No one should have one of those.
Nebraska, and its No. 22 ranking, are no more after a 31-24 loss to Illinois Friday night in Lincoln. It was the team's 400th straight sell out and the fourth loss against the Fighting Illini in the last five tries.
That's too bad. Nothing a little Dorothy Lynch won't fix.
Let's get back to the task at hand.
Five of us thought the Huskers were for real. The realistic ones, I'll raise my hand on that one, picked Illinois. Let's see how the rest of the weekend plays out:

Scott Bennett, who was Wyoming's Director of Sport Performance from 1998-2007, joins us this week as a guest picker. That means he worked under Dana Dimel, Vic Koenning and Joe Glenn. Guy Hale is also picking some games for us. Not only did he pick me up from the airport today in Dallas/ Fort Worth, he is a proud Glenrock native who loves the Cowpokes. Big thank you to Scott and Guy for helping out.
