Show us your picks: Week Three
LARAMIE -- Nevada, what happened?
Utah State, defending Mountain West champions, you guys OK?
Colorado State ... Never mind.
DJ Johnson and former Cowboy lineman Rudy Stofer both thought Middle Tennessee, a Conference USA squad coming off a lopsided 44-7 loss at James Madison in its season opener, would find a way to walk away with a win last Saturday inside Canvas Stadium.
Not only did the Blue Raiders do just that, it jumped out to a 34-0 lead in Jay Norvell's Fort Collins debut.
To add a little salt to the wound (we like to do that in this weekly feature) James Madison's quarterback was none other than ex-CSU signal caller Todd Centeio. He threw six touchdown passes against MT.
For their troubles, the Rams now get to head to Pullman and take on a Wazzu team, led by former Wyoming defensive coordinator Jake Dickert, which is fresh off an upset win over Wisconsin in Madison.
Good luck, fellas.
As for the Wolf Pack, no one on our panel saw them dropping a 55-41 decision at home to Incarnate Word. That a small private school in San Antonio put a halt to that 2-0 start in a hurry, huh?
There's no shame in losing to top-ranked Alabama, even if the score was 55-goose egg, but can anyone in Aggieland explain that 35-7 blowout, courtesy of Weber State, last Saturday inside Maverik Stadium?
Remember when Logan Bonner took the conference by storm last fall, dicing up defenses with that lighting-quick spread attack? Last week he completed just 12-of-31 passes for 120 yards and three interceptions.
College football is truly the best.
Here are last week's records:
Rudy Stofer: 8-4
Jake Edmunds: 7-5

Still thinking of a traveling trophy for the winner. Open to all ideas and suggestions. The more bizarre the better.
Joining us this week, my wife Emilee and my childhood friend, Zach "Lurch" Adkison. Really interested to see if I'll have bragging rights under my roof this week. Actually, I'm way more interested to see if Wyoming's Wyatt Wieland lands those over little brother, Air Force kicker, Luke Wieland.
Here are this week's games and available betting lines:
Air Force (-16) at Wyoming
Colorado State (+17) at Washington State
San Diego State (+16.5) at No. 14 Utah
Duquesne (+6.5) at Hawaii
UTEP (-2.5) at New Mexico
Nevada (+23.5) at Iowa
Fresno State (+16) at No. 7 USC

All of the odds listed above are obviously subject to change, but we gave it our best shot:
