Q: What is your favorite part of being a member of the University of Wyoming’s Spirit Squad?
A: I would have to say representing the University along with working with each other to be able to make ourselves stronger as members of society, because cheerleading teaches you a lot of life lessons that you can carry on in your personal life.
Q: Having grown up in Colorado, you’re pretty familiar with bigger towns. Parker is quite a bit bigger than Laramie, so what is one thing you absolutely love about living in Laramie?
A: I like that life kind of just kind of slows down … the speed limits slow down, everyone seems to take their time wherever they want to go, and you don’t have to rush around as much since you’re not having to focus on everyday home life.
Q: The Spirit Squad supports a lot of different sports for the University of Wyoming, and I know they’re all important; however, if you had to pick one sport as your favorite, what would it be?
A: That’s tough to pick because all of the sports are fun to cheer for; however, if I had to pick one, it would have to be football. It’s in the warmer time of the fall months so we get to go outside and cheer on our Cowboys.
Q: If there’s one thing that people my find surprising about you, what would it be?
A: Well, I have been to Peru three times on mission trips when I was younger.
Q: If you could go to dinner with any celebrity or athlete, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A: I would go with Peyton Manning. As one of the greatest quarterbacks in Broncos history, and I have heard that he is a very personable human being who can hold a great conversation.
Q: If I were to give you two plane tickets anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take?
A: I would take either my mom or my girlfriend, and we’d go to Bali, Indonesia where I’d want to go scuba diving because it’s always been a dream of mine since I got my certification.
