LARAMIE -- The University of Wyoming Athletics Department and the WYO Sports Ranch have partnered for special camps with Wyoming student-athletes from Cowboy Football, Cowgirl Volleyball and Soccer along with a basketball camp with former Cowgirl head coach Joe Legerski on March 1-2 in Casper.

Youth will have the opportunity to learn from Cowboy and Cowgirl student-athletes along with interaction and autographs with the student-athletes.

Cowboy Football and Cowgirl Volleyball will hold sessions on March 1 with former Cowgirl basketball coach Joe Legerski and Cowgirl Soccer hold sessions on March 2.

The Cowgirl volleyball team will also play Laramie County Community College in a spring exhibition on Saturday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the WYO Sports Ranch. Fans will be able to interact with the Cowgirls following the match. The contest is free and open to the public.

The entire Cowgirl Volleyball roster will also be involved in the volleyball portion of the camps.

The WYO Sports Ranch is a 130,000 square foot indoor sports complex designed to host youth and amateur sports tournaments, events, and to provide a state-of-the-art asset for the Casper community and Rocky Mountain Region.

The WYO Sports Ranch is transforming the environment of youth athletics in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain Region by creating a multi-functional space for competition, training, and events that promotes a healthy lifestyle for youth, year-round.

The facility includes basketball and volleyball courts, permanent indoor turf, a sports performance and training center, community rooms and opportunities for other mat sports, dance and cheer, baseball and softball, and community events. The complex is located in the northeast corner of the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
