CONWAY, S.C., – The Wyoming Cowboys close out play at the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Sunday morning facing Furman. The contest is slated for a 8:30 a.m. MT start and will be the first meeting between the two schools.

Fans can listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be televised on ESPNU and will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney commenting.

 

About The Teams

Wyoming heads into the game with a 3-1 overall record after defeating College of Charleston 67-60 on Friday afternoon. The Cowboys held Charleston to 31.5 percent from the field and are holding opponents to 38.8 percent from the field for the season. Wyoming is shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from behind the arc. Wyoming is grabbing 38.5 rebounds per game and are +6.5 on the glass for the season. Wyoming is averaging 80 points per night are allowing 65.3 per game.

The Paladins head into the game with a 3-1 overall record after defeating Coastal Carolina by a score of 89-80 on Friday. Furman is scoring 86.5 points per game and are allowing 78 points per game. The Paladins are shooting 48 percent from the field and 30 percent from behind the arc. Opponents are shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from behind the arc.

Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Sam Griffin at 19 points per game. He also has 12 helpers on the season and is shooting 54 percent from the field. About The Series

The Cowboys and Paladins will meet for the first time on Sunday. It will be the first contest against a team from the SoCon since facing East Tennessee State in El Paso, Texas on Dec. 21, 2018.
