Brongo, Keen Honored as Mountain West Players of the Week
LARAMIE -- For the second consecutive week, the University of Wyoming soccer team had a pair of players honored as Mountain West Conference Players of the Week.
Lily Brongo reeled in Defensive Player of the Week and Addison Keen was recognized as Freshman of the Week.

The Cowgirls’ defensive third shined this past week and both Brongo and Keen were a big reason as to why. Wyoming won both of its matches – at Idaho State and versus Colorado Mesa – by a 1-0 score. The Bengals and Mavericks only managed a combined four shots on target.
Brongo played all 180 minutes of the past two matches. Keen logged a full 90 against Idaho State and registered 76 minutes played against Colorado Mesa.
The shutouts this past week were the fourth and fifth clean sheets of the season. Wyoming will look to keep up that defensive intensity this week at South Dakota State and at South Dakota.
