The championships return to McAuley Aquatic Center for the third time and first since 2022. The historic aquatic center was originally built to host the 1996 Olympic Games.

Sophomore Macey Hansen will kick off the championships in her second appearance with the 1,650-yard Freestyle on Wednesday. Hansen enters as the No. 35 swimmer with a seed time of 16:15.41 in the 42-woman field.

Junior Tara Joyce will start her first of two events on Thursday with the 200-yard Freestyle. With a seed time of 1:44.43, she is the No. 38 in the 48-swimmer field. On Saturday, Joyce will also race in the 100-yard Freestyle, getting one of the last two spots into the championship with a time of 48.56.

Senior Alicia Gonzalez will have Friday all to herself when she competes in the 3-Meter dive prelims at 8 a.m. MT.

Morning sessions each day will begin at 8 a.m. MT, with evening events and finals starting at 4:03 p.m. MT.

The group of Gonzalez, Joyce and Hansen ties the most women Wyoming has sent to the NCAA Championships. The last time three Cowgirls were at NCAAs together was in 2016 when Kari Campbell, Maria Hartujunjan and Emily Ridot competed across swimming and diving events.

From Bison to Triceratops - All of Wyoming's Official Things

Every state in our nation has chosen things that represent the state in one way or another to be official state things. Like a flower, or animal. Wyoming is no different.

The Equality State, or the Cowboy State, depending on which state slogan you want to go with, has a state flower. But did you know we also have a state tree and a state fish? Yes, we even have a state code.

To be an official thing, a member of the state legislature must write and submit a bill to the legislature declaring that a thing will be the official state thing. Then the legislature votes to pass the bill, or not, if it passes, the governor signs the bill into law and we have a new official state thing.

Here is what we have so far, all of Wyoming's official things. Now you can win big on Wyo Trivia Night if that's a thing that exists.
