LARAMIE -- The one that got away?

Kaden Anderson said that's how he'll remember this 31-6 setback against No. 20 Utah. Wyoming's sophomore quarterback said he's shouldering the blame, too, after completing just 12-of-23 passes for 108 yards and an interception.

Anderson was also strip-sacked in the loss.

"I'm hurt right now," Anderson said. "You know, we had this game. I think that's why I'm so hurt -- losses like this. That game was very winnable. It was a very winnable game. So, I mean, you know, 24-hour rule: watch it, learn from it, get back and get going on Monday. Like I said, we're gonna be really good. We got a lot to learn from that tape."

Will you remain patient like Anderson?

Wyoming's defense certainly has nothing to hang its head about. Linebacker Evan Eller and safety Andrew Johnson combined for 24 tackles while holding one of the most high-powered offenses in America to just three first-half points.

Fatigue, though, ultimately set in. Devon Dampier and Co., ultimately got going, finding the end zone on all four possessions over the final two quarters in front of nearly 24,000 inside War Memorial Stadium.
