Rants & Raves: CSU Edition
LARAMIE -- True freshman Tyson Shamsid-Deen was on the field.
So was Jaden DaCosta, Caleb Merritt, Enock Sibomana and Tegen Seeds.
Those players are all reserves, tasked with keeping this shutout intact on Colorado State's final drive of the night.

Darius Curry, who took the reins of the Rams' offense after a three-interception night from starting quarterback Jackson Brousseau, led that unit all the way down to the Wyoming 5-yard line with under two minutes remaining in regulation.
That's as far as it would go.

The redshirt freshman signal caller bobbled the shotgun snap and was swarmed by a whole host of black shirts.
The Cowboys blanked their Border War rivals 28-0 Saturday night in front of more than 25,000 inside War Memorial Stadium.
CSU managed just 62 yards of total offense over the first 30 minutes. Only 18 of those came from the right arm of Brousseau, who completed just 10 passes for 99 yards on the night. The visitors were also held to 94 yards on the ground on 27 carries. That's an average of 3.5 per attempt.
"Some of the best energy I've ever been around. Everyone is so excited," said defensive tackle Ben Florentine, who tallied two tackles and a pass breakup. "Even those guys who got to contribute at the end, I mean, this was just a great all around team win. You could feel that in the locker room, everyone was just happy to be part of it.
"We're happy to bring the boot back to Laramie."
