* It's a beautiful day on the high plains, temperatures hovering in the 70's. Little bit of wind out of the north but doesn't seem to be moving the big flag inside War Memorial Stadium -- yet.

* Dainsus Miller is in uniform and will play today, he told 7220sports.com ahead of this homecoming matchup with Hawaii. The senior is part of the "5-in-5" debacle currently happening across the college athletics landscape. This is a bog boost for a secondary that is without cornerbacks Tyson Shamsid-Deen and Kendall Griffin. Both underwent a hand procedure last week. Miller has been practicing with the team since early September.

* Cam Stone, a former Wyoming cornerback from 2020-22, is on the visiting sideline today. He is currently helping out the Hawaii defensive backs as he awaits his chance to tryout for USFL teams. Stone tallied 45 tackles and picked off two passes in a Cowboy uniform. He also returned a kick for a touchdown against Utah State back in 2021. Stone, a Texas native, capped his collegiate career in Honolulu.
