Wyoming Football Announces 2026 Game Times, TV Slate
LARAMIE -- The 118th version of the Border War now comes with a time and a television station.
So do Wyoming's other 11 guaranteed games.

The Cowboys and Rams, who will meet in Fort Collins in the 2026 season opener, are now scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m. inside Canvas Stadium. The game can be viewed on USA Network.
Jay Sawvel's squad will appear on national television 10 times this fall. The other two contests -- Northern Colorado in Laramie on Sept. 12 and Wyoming's trip to Central Michigan the following Saturday -- will stream on MW-Plus and ESPN-Plus, respectively.
Three times, the Mountain West Conference announced on Wednesday, the Cowboys will play on a Friday night, two of which are tilts set for War Memorial Stadium: Air Force (Oct. 23), New Mexico (Nov. 20) and at San Jose State on Oct. 9.
Pokes to play Three Home Games on The CW
The Pokes will open their home portion of the schedule against Northern Colorado on Sept.12 with a 2 p.m. start on the conference's new stream service MW-Plus with more information being released in the coming weeks.
The Pokes will host Hawai'i on Sept. 26 in a 1 p.m. start on The CW, which marks three-straight home contests on the network. UW will host MW newcomer Northern Illinois at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 17 and then a Friday contest with Air Force on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.
Wyoming will host New Mexico on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. in a contest on FS1 and closes the regular season hosting UConn on Nov. 28 on the Fox Family of Networks with a time to be determined.

Road Slate Times
The Cowboys open the season with the Border War against Colorado State on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. in a contest on the USA Network. Wyoming's game at Central Michigan on Saturday, September 19 will kick at 11 a.m. on ESPN-Plus.
Wyoming's contest at North Dakota State is set for a 1:30 p.m. start on The CW on Oct. 3. UW's game at San Jose State shifted to Friday, Oct. 9 and is set for a 7 p.m. start on CBS Sports Network.
The Cowboys will play at UNLV in an 8:30 p.m. kick on Saturday, Nov. 7 also on CBS Sports Network. UW will renew their rivalry with UTEP on the Fox Family of Networks on Saturday, Nov. 14 with time and station to be determined at a later date.
MW Championship Game
The 2026 Mountain West Football Championship game will be nationally televised on FOX for the seventh consecutive year. The championship game is scheduled to kick off Friday, Dec. 4 with a time of 7 p.m.
