LARAMIE -- Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis Head Coach Dean Clower has announced the signing of a pair of student-athletes to the 2024 recruiting class.

The Cowgirls welcome Eugenia Ceinos and Dilnaz Mashabayeva to a class that already signed Ruby Young.

Ceinos, who is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, was ranked first in her region for both under 14 and under 16 age groups. Ceinos also reached a No. 2 ranking nationally in those two age groups. Ceinos reached a top-1200 WTA ranking as well in singles play and was 1,230 in WTA Doubles.

She also reached an impressive ranking of 9.25 from the UTR during her prep career.

Mashabayeva will come to Wyoming from Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Cowgirls beat out an impressive list of schools for the highly-coveted recruit. Mashabayeva who was also recruited by Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Austin Peay, Colorado, James Madison, Louisiana, Marshall, Murray State, Penn State, UMass and Washington.

Mashabayeva said she chose UW because she “really like the team, with whom I will get to spend a lot of time with. I also like the level of study taught at Wyoming, that is important to me. Most importantly, I’m excited to be coached by an incredible coach in coach Clower.”

Ceinos, Mashabayeva and Young will all join the Cowgirls in the fall of 2024.
