Wyoming’s Logan Wilson has Bengals Fans Crooning in His Honor

That's right, Logan Wilson now has his own song.

The Bengal Boys, a trio of Cincinnati super fans, obviously did their homework when they penned their latest parody masterpiece. Do you think that skinny cornerback at Natrona County High School ever thought the words to "Lola" would one day be changed to "Logan?"

Fellow Cowpoke Josh Allen has his own cereal, barbecue sauce, action figures, and, yes, a song or two written in his honor (Hey, everyone has the internet), but this was a video shoot -- and essentially a concert

That will happen when you tally 256 tackles, 4.5 sacks and seven interceptions in 40 games as the middle linebacker of the Cincinnati Bengals. It also doesn't hurt that Wilson helped lead this once floundering franchise, one that used to be known as the "Bungles" and was infamous for paper-bag wearing fans in the stands, to Super Bowl LVI last February.

Don't count anyone around here as surprised.

During his All-American career at the University of Wyoming, Wilson registered 249 stops, seven quarterback takedowns and picked off 10 passes. Most importantly, he never once lost to Border War rival Colorado State.

He owned those Rams.

The other ones ultimately claimed a 23-20 victory on Super Sunday on the back of a controversial call that put the Casper native front and center.

Logan, look away:

The Bengal Boys -- Dylan Bodley, Colin Cooper and Parker Phillips -- reference this tragedy in their song. They also do a masterful job of describing that local-boy-done-good we all know.

"I'm not claiming refs were on the Rams payroll, but he didn't hold Kupp in the Super Bowl ... Defensive captain, he would never complain. He knows that we're gonna be back there again."

Division rival Baltimore pays a visit to Paycor Stadium tomorrow night for an opening round playoff meeting in the Queen City. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Mountain Time.
