LARAMIE -- Craig Bohl was asked a simple question this week: Will he retire or does he want a contract extension?

Wyoming's 10th-year head coach said he is still out recruiting and not puffing the pillow quite yet. He said he chats with his wife at season's end and they discuss the state of life.

There was no definitive answer, though.

Bohl's contract will expire after the 2024 campaign. Surely he won't head into this offseason without a plan. He has a decision to make. So does Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman.

If Bohl does choose to return, will there be stipulations? Demands? Change required to help get this team over the hump and back to championship Saturday?

There should be.

Cody Tucker and Jared Newland discuss the future of the school's longest-tenured coach, a senior day meeting with Hawaii and what lies ahead for a team that is playing for pride and what they call other "dangling carrots."

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
