Cowboys Take Stage at Track & Field Field Outdoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Four Cowboys represented the University of Wyoming on day one of four at the 2024 NCAA West First Rounds Track and Field Championships on Wednesday.
Daniel Reynolds capped off his record-breaking season in the Hammer Throw with an 18th place finish. Reynolds, who broke the Wyoming school record in the event, went 213-5 in Arkansas.
Cam Burkett finished up his outdoor season placing in 35th in the Shot Put. Burkett went 56-4 in today's final. Burkett moved up to No. 4 in the Wyoming record books with his best performance of the season at 62-0.25 in the event.
Jaheim Ferguson ran a 52.75 in the 400M Hurdles to end his season in 41st place amongst the best in the west. Ferguson took third at this season's Mountain West Conference Championships with his personal best time of 51.32.
Mason Norman took 35th in the finals of the 10000M race. Norman ran a 30:18.19 to finish up his 2024 season.
UP NEXT
Eowyn Dalbec, Gabby Drube, Salma Elbadra and Sadie McMullen will represent the Cowgirls on the second of four days in Arkansas. Dalbec in the 10000M, Drube in the 400M Hurdles, Elbadra in the 1500 and McMullen in the Long Jump.
