
Cowgirl Kira Reisner is Mountain West Freshman of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., – Wyoming's Kira Reisner has been named the Mountain West Women's Golf Freshman of the Week.

The weekly honor is the sixth first for Reisner's career.

KIRA REISNER, WYOMING
Northridge, California/Simi Valley HS
Finished 25th at the Southern Utah Thunderbird Invitational.
Shot 8-over 224 for the tournament, highlighted by a 1-over 73 in the second round.
Was the Cowgirls' second-best finisher.
Reisner is a sophomore from Northridge, Calif., who attended Simi Valley High School.
She won the CIF LA City Championships during the 2020-21 season. Reisner followed that up with a fourth-place finish at the CIF LA City Championships during the 2021-22 season. She also captured the title at the 2022 California Junior Golf Brookside Shootout where she won by six strokes over the field. Along with producing impressive results, Reisner has experience competing in high level competitions including multiple Future Champions Tour events and the Palm Springs Open.
She played for head golf coach Garrett Pendleton at SVH.
Reisner's father, Cory Reisner, is a former PGA Pro.
