Wyoming finished with a three-round score of 926 (+62). Reigning champion San Jose State and UNLV tied for first place in the team standings after three rounds with a score of 882 (+18); the Rebels claimed the 2025 conference title in a playoff.

"The course played the most difficult today for the field in relation to par and the elements," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "We stuck to our game plan and didn't make any major mistakes, but we were last in the field for birdies so we could not make up any ground."

Kyla Wilde returned to the lineup after missing the second round due to illness. The senior battled her way around the par-72, 6,286- yard course and posted a 76, which was the Cowgirls' best score in the third round.

San Jose State's Lucia Lopez Ortega is the individual medalist after finishing -5 to win by four strokes over Nevada's Anna Shultse.

"Kyla's final tournament as a Cowgirl symbolized much of her entire career at Wyoming – grit, leadership, focus, a team first mentality," Stender said. "She made a lot of clutch putts to finish strong while battling the flu. Her team needed her, and she came through.

"She will leave a legacy not only through her results on the course, but she is every coach's dream as a selfless, competitive student-athlete."

UW was led by freshman Lucia Morelli and senior Meghan Vogt who both finished at +17 (233) for the tournament and tied for 32nd in the individual standings. Vogt, who missed the bulk of last season due to injuries, will return to the program in 2025-26.

"I am encouraged with the experience and leadership we have returning with Meg," Stender said. "Her work ethic is something we will lean on."

Freshman Kira Reisner (234) and junior Grace Dunkleberger (241) rounded out UW's scoring.

"Lucia and Kira have improved tremendously this season. To have two freshmen with their talent level is exciting to build on for next year," Stender said. "Grace didn't have the day she wanted but she was the key to our team depth this spring. She persevered and set an example of commitment to the process. It has been so rewarding watching her grown in confidence and leadership."

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
