Wyoming is in search of its first win this season after it opened with a tough slate of six matches in the state of Oklahoma. Two of which, coming against Top-16 ranked opponents in No. 4 Oklahoma State and 16th-ranked Oklahoma.

Through the first six matches of 2025, UW has gotten up-and-down play from its young squad. Elena Trencheva and Ruby Young lead the Cowgirls in singles wins right now, while the tandems of Violetta Borodina and Trencheva, as well as Eugenia Ceinos and Anastasiia Kochelaevskaia lead the way in doubles competition.

The Cowgirls have been nearly unbeatable at home under Head Coach Dean Clower. Under Clower, Wyoming is 64-11 in Laramie, which is over an 85-percent winning percentage. Last season, the Cowgirls went 9-1 in home contests.
