The Cowgirls (4-4) are coming off a tough 5-2 loss at Northern Arizona last Saturday. Wyoming won the doubles point against the Lumberjacks as all three doubles teams won 6-4 last weekend. Sophie Zehender was the Cowgirls’ lone singles win against NAU, as she defeated Northern Arizona’s Ellie Millard, 6-4 and 6-0 at the No. 2 position.

Under head coach Dean Clower, the Cowgirls have been impressive at home, compiling a record of 41-7 (.854) in his eight seasons with home matches, including three undefeated seasons in Laramie.

This weekend’s matches will be the first of just four home contests this season for the Cowgirls. UW will welcome Nevada and Fresno State to Laramie April 10 and 11, respectively.

Weber State enters this weekend with a 2-3 record and is searching for its first true road win of the season.

The Wildcats have played a Mountain West opponent already once this season, a 4-3 loss in February at UNLV.
