Q: Why Wyoming?
A: I chose Wyoming for the overall school and athletics experience. They are doing great this year, and hopefully even better in future. I wanted to hop on and be part of brand, for sure.

Q: What position will you play in Laramie and what can fans expect you to bring to the table?
A: Wyoming recruited me to play the three-technique, defensive tackle. They want me to stay inside and wreak havoc. And, hopefully a lot of hard work. I hope to see the field and make an impact however I can.

Q: What other schools showed interest in you?
A: A lot of Big 12 schools. I got preferred walk-ons to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan State and Iowa. I got some FCS schools and MAC schools, too, like Illinois State, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, a lot of schools around that area. I chose Wyoming.

Gavin Meyer has made the rounds to meet with interested programs.

Q: When did you visit and what are your thoughts on the facilities, coaching staff, players, fans?
A: I first visited in the summer. I came up and took a little tour. Actually, one of the first weeks the coaches took a break in the middle of June. Not too many students or anyone was in town. I got to see the weight room, the field and all the facilities. I think it's really important to actually get there. I don't know what it's about, but I fell in love at first site. The facilities are top-notch. It's amazing how Wyoming is all in on the football program. Coach Pete Kaligis is an awesome guy. As soon as I met him, we talked ball. It was awesome to get to talk to him. He's the kind of guy who can talk about ball talk for hours. It was an awesome visit.

Q: What are your thoughts on the current UW team?
A: They are a great group if guys. I got to meet a bunch of them when I was there. (Some on the defensive line) are looking to come back from injuries. They are a great group of guys who are making an impact. The defensive line group rotates and stays fresh every play of the game. It's nice to watch them. They play the later games -- 8:30 or 7:30 p.m. kickoffs in Wisconsin. I've been watching most games. There have been a bunch of close games, some that didn't end up going their way. I've been watching, keeping an eye on them. I'm impressed with the level of play and commitment every down.

Q: What do you want Wyoming fans to know about you?
A: Wyoming fans need to know that I'm the hardest worker out there, trying to get better everyday. It doesn't matter if I'm starting, second team, scout team or injured, a day at a time I'll be the hardest worker out there you can be.

Q: When are you singing?
A: I'm signing Wednesday. I can't wait.
