Rumpf, who also received the honor January 26 and February 16, averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.5 blocks per game last week for the Cowgirls while shooting 55-percent from the floor and 53.8-percent from 3-point range.

"The seniors now constantly remind me in practice to keep doing what you're doing, you're working hard," Rumpf told gowyo.com back in January. "Hearing that from all our leadership is such a good boost in confidence and makes me feel so good."

Rumpf went crazy Saturday at San Diego State, recording a career-high 27 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field and made all six of Wyoming’s 3-pointers in the loss. Rumpf opened the week with eight points, seven boards, a career-best four assists and three blocks at Air Force.

Rumpf and the rest of the Cowgirls close the regular season Tuesday at 5 p.m., against Grand Canyon. It will be Senior Night at the Arena-Auditorium, as well.

From Bison to Triceratops - All of Wyoming's Official Things

Every state in our nation has chosen things that represent the state in one way or another to be official state things. Like a flower, or animal. Wyoming is no different.

The Equality State, or the Cowboy State, depending on which state slogan you want to go with, has a state flower. But did you know we also have a state tree and a state fish? Yes, we even have a state code.

To be an official thing, a member of the state legislature must write and submit a bill to the legislature declaring that a thing will be the official state thing. Then the legislature votes to pass the bill, or not, if it passes, the governor signs the bill into law and we have a new official state thing.

Here is what we have so far, all of Wyoming's official things. Now you can win big on Wyo Trivia Night if that's a thing that exists.
