Q: Why Wyoming?
A: I'm an outdoors guy. I love to be outdoors. Wyoming has everything I ever looked for. I love how (Craig) Bohl runs the program. I love (Bart) Miller.

Q: What position will you play in Laramie and what can fans expect you to bring to the table?
A: I'll play guard and center, but mainly guard. I'm a weight-room guy. A very physical guy. I'm a hard-nosed kind of football player. I'm a move-the-guy-off-the-line-of-scrimmage player. Looking for lots of pancakes.

Q: What other schools showed interest in you?
A: Texas State, Colorado State, South Dakota State, South Dakota, North Dakota, Jacksonville State and Western Illinois and some other ones.

Q: I assume like most Nebraska kids your dream was to play for the Huskers?
A: Actually, no. I have never been a Nebraska fan. I had an hour-and-a-half conversation with Miller about that. He thought the same thing.

Q: When did you visit and what are your thoughts on the facilities, coaching staff, players, fans?
A: I went out for camp my freshman year. Honestly, I didn't really like it. I thought, 'why would I play at Wyoming? I don't like it.' I went out there again for a camp. Bohl and one of my high school coaches played together at Nebraska. They said they'd like to have me out for camp to see how I does. I got dragged out there. I didn't want to go in the first place. But, I went out there, got an offer from Bohl and then coach Miller showed me the facilities. I ended up loving it. I went out for my official visit in September for the Idaho game. I loved it. I already get a long with them so well. I'm already in touch with what they are doing. It was a good time. Frank Crum was my host, the guy who showed me around on a tour. Patrick Arnold is from Gretna, which is not too far from me. I've been talking to him a bit before i went up there. They helped me see the inside of program. And I loved watching the fans.

Q: What are your thoughts on the current UW team?
A: I think they easily could've been better than the record shows. This program has a lot of potential and good things going for it in the future. Miller didn't even have his guys, but he turned them around so quick. The mid-season award for the line was impressive to see.

Q: What do you want Wyoming fans to know about you?
A: Oh boy, well, I'm a twin. I have a twin sister who is the complete opposite of me. She's in choir and on the student council. We get a long. I have a little brother who is a sophomore in high school. He's a baseball player. That is his only sport. I get along with him a lot better. I'm an outdoors guy and I love football. I don't watch a lot of football, I just like to play it a lot. I love to lift weights. I'm a very exciting person. I get into the game. I'm very competitive and really get into it. I'm not much of a trash talker, but I can be extra "shovey" sometimes.
