Q: Why Wyoming?
A: I chose Wyoming because when I visited, I instantly felt like it was home for me. I love the area and the campus. Academics are very important to me and I felt like Wyoming had everything I wanted. I am considering law school post-college, and Wyoming having its own law school appealed to me. The biggest reason was I felt like the people were kind and so friendly and took such pride in living in Laramie and supporting the Cowboys.

Q: What position will you play in Laramie and what can fans expect you to bring to the table?
A: I plan on playing offensive guard or possibly could move to center if needed. Playing guard is my passion. I love the interior line and the gritty contact and physical nature of the position. I think my biggest strength is my aggression and passion to hit hard and play the game in a tough blue-collar manner. My high school ran the single-wing and we played old-school hand-in-the-dirt-style running-game football. And my best asset is my physical nature and ability to run block.

Q: What other schools showed interest in you?
A: I was recruited by many schools, but eventually ended up with offers from Northern Illinois, Illinois State, Northwest Missouri State, Missouri Western, and three or four other schools among others. I always had Wyoming as my No. 1 pick throughout the recruiting process.

Q: When did you visit and what are your thoughts on the facilities, coaching staff, players, fans?
A: My first of two visits to Laramie was in April and my second was in November. I was blown away by the facilities. I have been on visits to Michigan State, Missouri, and multiple other Power-5 schools and believe that Wyoming’s facilities are second to none. I cannot speak highly enough of the coaching staff. They are truly what made my decision. Coach (Jake) Dickert and Coach (Bart) Miller have been incredible to work with. Their knowledge and passion are very impressive. And I really felt a great connection with the staff at all levels. I was so impressed with the fans when the stadium was so full at the Border War game in minus-8 temperatures. Multiple fans spoke to me and were excited about the idea of me coming to Laramie.

Q: What are your thoughts on the current UW team?
A: This year’s team has been so much fun to watch. It is definitely my style of football in that they take pride in being able to power run the football. It really is the type of game I like and the offensive line is such a proud and tight-knit group. I am really excited to be part of that.

Q: What do you want Wyoming fans to know about you?
A: In my spare time, I love to hunt and fish. I love the outdoors and riding 4-wheelers and working outside. And I love the cold weather. I am a big country music fan and drive a lifted Ford truck. I am a country boy at heart and cannot wait to get to Laramie and get started.
