LARAMIE -- The Baylor School wrestling team in Tennessee has tallied 25 state titles and more than 120 individual champions.

Grapplers from that program have also earned a combined 15 national crowns, produced a five-time state champ and 2008 NCAA winner from Cornell, Jordan Leen.

Tack on a program dual record of 855-193-7, 374 medalists at state and 425 tournament qualifiers and you have a wrestling powerhouse. No wonder the Raiders were ranked the 40th best wrestling team in the nation in 2021.

Not a bad résumé, huh?

Tuesday, two wrestlers from that same program in Chattanooga -- Garrison Dendy and David Harper -- committed to March Branch's Wyoming squad, giving the Cowboys a pair of new recruits ranked in the Top 60 in the country.

Dendy is currently ranked No. 33 in the nation. Harper comes in a 58th overall.

Both will graduate in 2022.

Dendy and Harper both claimed Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II State Championships this past winter. They did the same thing a year prior and in 2019. That puts this duo on an elite list of Baylor wrestlers who have claimed three state titles, joining nine other Raiders throughout the team's history.

In 2019, Dendy even placed third in the National Prep Championship.

Dendy is projected to wrestle in the 149-to-157-pound weight class in Laramie, according to Flowwrestling.org. The wrestling website has Harper projected at 197.
