Rants & Raves: BYU Edition
LARAMIE -- If only you had the confidence Jack Walsh does.
"Of course, hands down, we're going to turn it around," Wyoming's junior right guard said just minutes after the Cowboys fell 34-14 to rival BYU inside a sold-out War Memorial Stadium. "I know it's not the start, you know, anybody thought (we'd have), and it certainly isn't the start that we thought we were going to have, but I have full faith in our team. We're going to be fine."

Telling from the rants during Saturday night's game, your morale isn't doing so hot. It shouldn't be.
Again this offense sputtered, rolling up a grand total of 217 yards, 75 of which came on a scoring drive in the second quarter. That possession was impressive. The six 3-and-out's weren't. Wyoming punted eight times. It turned the ball over on downs. Evan Svoboda tossed an interception, his third in as many games.
If you're keeping track at home, that's 12 offensive drives. Ten of those failed.
This unit ranks 132nd out of 133 teams in the FBS, averaging just 201.7 yards per outing. Who's worse? Kent State. That team lost 71-0 Saturday at Tennessee. Not exactly the company you want to keep.
