LARAMIE -- How 'bout them Cowboys?
Wyoming overcame an early 17-0 deficit and scored 20 unanswered in a 35-33 victory over Texas Tech in double overtime.
Was there ever a doubt?
In all seriousness, I didn't think the Pokes would be overmatched in this one. Early on, it looked a tad scary. Then, the real defense showed up for the home team, who held the high-powered Red Raiders off the scoreboard for nearly three full quarters.
Huge win for Craig Bohl and Co.

Fresno State also pulled off a nice win over a Power-5 opponent, knocking off Purdue 29-25 in West Lafayette. I didn't have a lot of faith in the Bulldogs. After all, that roster was decimated by graduation, including losing Mountain West MVP Jake Haener.
The defending champs aren't going away that easily.
Boise State, Colorado State, Nevada, Hawaii and New Mexico all got thumped by the big boys last weekend.
That won't happen again this week -- the Rams are off.
Will definitely be keeping an eye on Albertsons Stadium, where the Broncos are a 3.5-point underdog against UCF. Will also be paying attention to the happenings in Tuscaloosa where Alabama hosts Texas.
The Longhorns and Pokes will hook up next Saturday in Austin.
Here's a question I've been pondering: Do you want UT to lose, win or keep it close in regards to how they will enter the Pokes' game?
I seriously don't know.
