CHEYENNE -- Hawaii kicked off the Mountain West schedule with a dramatic win over visiting Arizona last Saturday night in zero week.

Now, the other league members get their shot.

The biggest game this weekend, of course, is Wyoming hosting Missouri of the SEC Conference Saturday evening at War Memorial Stadium. But there are some other games to watch for, too.

Tonight, San Jose State hosts Northern Colorado at 8 p.m. Our old MWC friends, Utah and BYU, also meet tonight in the "Holy War" at Lavell Edwards Stadium in Provo. Kickoff for that one is scheduled for 8:15.

Every week we will run through MWC games and a few additional big national tilts and make our predictions. We encourage you to do the same.

For our first official pick of the 2019 season, we are happy to have Wyoming fan Thor Stephenson Jr. join in the fun. Thor is from Rock Springs and helps run the "Pokes Nation" Facebook page.

We have another special guest picker this week. You may have heard of him. His name is Marcus Harris.

Harris is the Cowboys' all-time leading receiver and recipient of the 1996 Fred Biletnikoff Trophy, which is given to the nations' best wide out. He currently resides in his hometown of Minneapolis and coaches football and hoops. We want to thank arguably the greatest Cowboy of all time for having a little fun with us.
