Q: What is your favorite part of being a member of the University of Wyoming’s Spirit Squad?
A: It’s really nice that the university is the only four-year school in the state. Being that it’s the only one, it seems that a lot of little girls who want to become college cheerleaders are always looking up to us since we’re the only ones in the state.

Q: If you had to give advice to a 12-year-old child, who wanted to become a collegiate cheerleader, what advice would you give them?
A: I would definitely tell them to have confidence in themselves and their skills, and to constantly look for ways to make themselves better. I would also tell them that once they got into high school to learn how to effectively manage their time, because it’ll definitely help prepare you for college and managing a schedule that includes the classroom, social life, and cheering.

Q: Having grown up in Colorado, you’re pretty familiar with bigger towns. Colorado Springs is quite a bit bigger than Laramie, so what is one thing you absolutely love about living in Laramie?
A: I love that everything is so close and practically all stores, shopping, your friends … well, they’re all within walking distance from your house. There’s also a lot of outdoorsy activities that are also within either walking distance, or a short drive, so that’s nice to have too.

Q: If there’s one thing that people my find surprising about you, what would it be?
A: Well, it’s funny, but when I was little, I always wanted to be the first person to walk on Mars. We were at a space museum and I knew that nobody had been on Mars, so I really wanted to be the first one there!

Q: If you could go to dinner with any celebrity or athlete, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A: I would go with Maisie Williams because she has a really cool style and she seems so confident and driven in what she does. So, I think it would be great to sit down with her for a few hours over dinner.

Q: If I were to give you two plane tickets anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take?
A: I would take my mom and we would go to Scotland. We watched the TV show Outlander, which is based in Scotland, and we just thought it would always be so cool to go to Scotland!
