UW clinched the league crown thanks to a pair of wins last week in Fort Collins against Air Force and New Mexico. The Cowgirls came back to survive a 4-2 battle with Air Force Friday before blanking New Mexico in convincing fashion Saturday, 4-0. Sophie Zehender clinched both victories last weekend for Wyoming at the No. 1 singles spot. Zehender tallied a pair of three-set wins as she defeated AFA's Sydney Fitch, 7-5, 1-6 and 6-2 before rallying to win 5-7, 6-2, 6-0 against UNM's Sarah O'Connor.
