LARAMIE -- Sporting a brown plaid sportcoat and a gold tie, Sundance Wicks was dressed to the nines Thursday during his official introductory press conference. His trademark smile was on full display, too.

Did he bring the juice? You bet. Wyoming's new basketball coach always does.

Athletics Director Tom Burman called Wicks "unique." That's one way to put it.

The Gillette product gave thanks, spoke about expectations and added plenty of humor as he reintroduced himself to the Cowboy fanbase.

"One year ago, Green Bay stole me away. Today, we're back, diving into the Cowboy way," the 43-year-old said with a grin. "It is an honor to be here because Wyoming isn't just special to me, it's home."

Wicks led the Phoenix to an 18-14 record last fall -- a 15-game improvement from the year prior -- to mark the ninth-best turnaround in college basketball history.
