Cowgirls Back in the Swing at Silicon Valley Showcase
MILLBRAE, Calif. – Cowgirl golf returns to action at the Silicon Valley Showcase on Monday and Tuesday at Green Hills Country Club.
Wyoming will compete in a strong 11-team field that includes top-ranked Stanford, Cal, San Diego State and host Santa Clara.

Kiley Reisner, who was named the Mountain West freshman of the week after winning the individual trophy on March 8 at the Thunderbird Classic in St. George, Utah, leads a Cowgirl lineup that will include senior Meghan Vogt, junior Elle Higgins and sophomores Kira Reisner and Emerson Purcell.
UW finished third in the nine-team Thunderbird Classic. Kira Reisner (7th) joined her younger sister with a top 10 individual finish.
The Cowgirls were 9th in the 2025 Silicon Valley Showcase.
"This truly is a first-class, championship level event that we look forward to every year," head coach Josey Stander said. "The golf course is beautiful, not long but requires strategic tee shots and confidence on the undulated, quick greens. We are coming off a very positive learning experience from our last event both individually and as a team. I think our time since has been very beneficial to our preparation."
UW will host the annual Cowgirl Classic April 7-8 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
